The bike looks great! I won't lie about that! I dunno how you do it, because I never thought that you knew particularly much about what bikes look like d: Nice nonetheless c:
And for critique, I agree with the previous dude!
And I find the background really dull
The smoke looks very, very thick as well... and smoke tends to fade away really fast, especially when moving forward. I feel like the smoke here is giving the signal that he isn't really moving, but there's some slight wind. I think it'd be better if you'd make the smoke obviously thin out towards the back, and made it go more backwards from the source, showing more extreme speed!
But... one thing.
"GOLDSWAAAGH" is something truly epic and impressive.
THANK YOU! That atmoshpere thingy is exactely what i wanted to acchieve! Yea, yea, yea! And i don't know about bikes
I have to defend myself a bit about those muscles. I didn't want to make any uber ork, no nob, no warboss. Just a normal biker. Just your average warrior of ork race. And instead of overloading him with muscles, i wanted to make kind of... well toned, visibly strong yet not overbuffed muscles on his arms.
I was thinking about those blots on the background, but i was afraid i'd screw up. Next time, kay love?
Smoke - i wanted it seriously thick, yea. I also think i overdid it, but not as much as you say. Those bikes are supposed to emit terribly thick, choking clouds of exhaust smoke, as it says in teh codex.
And thanks! 8D I just wanted to put a little joke thar, as a finishing touch.
Well, in that case, I have to learn about bikes so I can complain
I wasn't talking about über orks, I meant a completely normal ork boy. Look at their anatomy.
To make smoke you need to be able to use more dynamic lines/techniques to make it look like it's not just a thick blot on your paper. Know that smoke is incredibly light, and it moves with the air. You can still make it look thick even if you let it move.
Regarding shading, you've done a really good job on the shadows, but there is a distinct lack of highlights on the bike, you should try to leave some areas white to show highlights, which will really make this picture look 3D
